《简爱》是一部在英国文学史上堪比中国的红楼梦经典的文学著作。
讲述的是,名叫简爱的女孩勇敢追求自己的爱情,最终在一波三折后终于得到属于自己的幸福的故事。
这是一部脍炙人口的小说,也是一部被称为带有自传色彩的小说,夏洛蒂出版小说时是十九世纪,当时英国的工业仍旧遥遥领先于世界,但是女人的地位还是属于攀附,勃朗特三姐妹都是作家,这在当时看来是不符合女性气质与身份的,会遭到男士的唾弃。再这样艰苦的环境下,三姐妹还陆续发出著作,夏洛蒂想借这本书来表达对当时社会女性地位的不满,渴求平等、自由。
简爱一生都在追求着平等和自尊,不甘被世俗他人的目光所牵绊住自己前行的脚步,勇于拼搏,渴望得到认同。
她自幼失去双亲,在舅妈家饱受欺凌收到不平等的待遇,被送往寄宿学校,可是那里也没能好到哪去,管理人用一切庸俗的礼仪和偏见摧残孩子们的心灵和肉体,吃不饱穿不暖还时时刻刻担心受到责罚,一场瘟疫血洗了整个寄宿学院,将它的腐败彻底暴露在世人面前。据说,夏洛蒂本人也是在一个修道院学习过,枯燥的说教,束缚着她们。夏洛蒂批判着当时社会对女人的不公,揭露当时腐败的政治教育,像解开腐烂了很久的尸骨盖,露出地下令人作呕的蛆。
简在那里学习了八年后成为一名家庭教师,来到罗切斯特先生家教导瓦伦,在一次次与罗切斯特先生的接触下,简发觉自己爱上了罗切斯特,但碍于对自己的不自信迟迟没有流露,而罗切斯特也恰好被简所吸引,于是两人相爱了。简提到,有个英格拉姆小姐,比她漂亮比她优秀比她端正,出身也比她高贵,她认为罗切斯特应该和英格拉姆在一起。她还绘画了一下英格拉姆小姐,告诉自己,自己比不上她!就别再妄想罗切斯特先生了!作者频频描写简相貌不端正,个子矮小,并非是想告诉我们“麻雀也有一天能够飞上枝头变凤凰”而是相貌不是决定人的一生的一切,自己的努力自己的追求自己的付出才是最关键的,要相信自己,也许你没有那么差。
当简与罗切斯特举行婚礼时,意外得知罗切斯特有个疯妻子,简伤心欲绝不甘做他人情妇,便动身离开。四处漂泊被圣约翰一家收留,牧师圣约翰和他两个妹妹都对简很好,当圣约翰向她提出结婚时,简犹豫了,圣约翰说想与她结婚并非是爱她,而是想要个好的助手。简突然想起了罗切斯特,感觉罗切斯特在呼唤她,于是便赶回桑菲尔德,发现那里的豪宅已然成为一堆废墟,原来是他的疯妻子放火烧了整个宅子,罗切斯特也失去了一只胳膊瞎了一只眼睛,简没有离开,而是和罗切斯特永远在一起。
这个结局可能有些匪夷所思,但这也是最好的结局。简一直渴望平等,现在他们真正地平等了,简不需要畏惧什么,也不需要在乎什么,只要能够一直这样下去,也就心满意足了。
当我在看简爱时,我被她里面的语句深深吸引着不能自拔,夏洛蒂描写景色非常精致,就像一副画一样在你面前栩栩如生,你甚至可以感到迎面的和风和白嘴鸦的叫声。我认为这也是她文章最出彩的部分之一,她用那金边镶的景色来渲染气氛烘托人物的情感,所有的喜怒哀乐就这样活跃于纸上。
她的道德观念,她的理想,都活生生体现在她塑造的人物身上,她追求平等,她渴望地位,她崇尚自由,她不是当时典型的英国女人,突破了这个重要的关口,也让简爱这部著作永垂不朽!

夏洛蒂·勃朗特的《简爱》看过三遍,而每看一遍都会有不同的感悟。或许是因为她在某些方面和自己很像,又或许是因为她就是那个自己想要成为的女性,简爱这个人物形象已经深深刻在我的脑海里,变得那么真实。
简爱从小就缺少亲人的疼爱,像灰姑娘一样在寄宿家庭里百受欺辱,但她并不像灰姑娘那样默默忍受着这一切,她奋起反抗,维护着自己骨子里强大的自尊。也许有人和她姨母一样认为她是一个脾气暴躁的怪孩子,但在我看来,她的这种倔强与不屈正是在她所处生活环境中难得可贵的。很多人在寄人篱下的时候总会表现出屈服顺从于生活,简爱却倔强地维护着自尊,即便换来的是一次比一次严厉的惩罚,她也勇敢的对那些欺辱说不。
由于姨母对她的嫌弃,她被送到了劳沃德。这段时光对简爱的影响应该是最大的,她收获了友情,收获了知识,感受到爱与被爱,逐渐的成长为一个理性,勇敢坚强的女性。每每读到这一段,我总会想到我的闺蜜,她是一个工科女,我是一个典型的文科生,很多人都奇怪我们是怎样成为朋友的,然而一切都是那么巧。有时间我们会经常一块儿聊天,有时畅想未来,有时互相勉励,有时交换彼此的看法。她给了我很大支持,鼓励我一路勇敢走过来。闺蜜的学习内容和我的差别很大,她总是给我做些小科普,我也会给她普及一些文学知识。她对待生活和未来现实而又理性,而我总是把问题想的很理想化。正是这种学习生活以及性格上的差异和互补,给了我很大的正面影响和引导,让我能够成长得更加优秀。简爱和我一样幸运,遇上了一位难得的知心朋友,并鼓励她引导她坚强勇敢的走下去。
离开劳沃德去到桑菲尔德府,简爱开始了一段新的人生。此时的简爱已经成长为一位知书达理,成熟和冷静的女性。在桑菲尔德府,简爱遇到了罗切斯特先生,这位年长,富有,风趣的贵族男子吸引了她。简爱在爱情面前同样表现出了勇敢,她并不因为身份地位的悬殊而退缩。也许她不够漂亮,她没有身世背景,但她追求平等自由的坚强与勇敢也同样吸引了罗切斯特先生。我很羡慕她能够在爱一个人的同时那个人也爱她,她的爱情是幸运的也是幸福的。我想没有经历过一段爱情的人应该会很羡慕她吧,她能够勇敢的说出自己的想法,而且刚刚好的是,罗切斯特也爱着她,月光下散步的他们显得如此幸福和美好。她让我明白,爱情有时是争取来的,但并不是卑微乞求来的。
按照童话故事,她们应该从此过上了幸福快乐的生活,但是生活总是残酷的,在结婚当天简爱得知罗切斯特是有妻子的,而且这个妻子仍然在世。得知真相的简爱受到了沉重的打击,她再一次维护自己的尊严,选择离开。看得出来,他们都深深爱着彼此,但是因为罗切斯特内心的一点自私的隐瞒和欺骗,对简爱造成了很大的伤害。而简爱的离开也并不是对事情的逃避,而是对自己尊严的一种维护,她绝不会容许自己的感情和声誉受到如此的践踏,虽然她依旧深深爱着罗切斯特。她需要一些时间,同时罗切斯特也需要一些时间去处理这件事。最终简爱选择离开。
这次离开让简爱偶然收获了亲情。她很幸运的遇到了善良的亲人们,这一次她终于能够感受到有亲人的家的温暖,这段描写特别温馨和缓。她有了依靠,她不再是一个人。当她面对金钱与亲情时,她义无反顾的选择了亲情,从小寄人篱下的她怎么会不懂得亲情的重要呢?
生活变得温馨而又幸福,但简爱的心中总有那么一些事情放不下。爱情怎么会说放下就放下呢?她多么希望能够知道罗切斯特现在过得怎样。再勇敢坚强的人也有内心柔软的时候,强烈的爱情引导着她回到桑菲儿德府。眼前的景象让她震惊了,罗切斯特残疾了,当她端着水进到罗切斯特的卧室时,那是一种怎样的情感,总之我每次读到这眼泪就会不停地掉,那种久别重逢的感觉,那种终于到家的感觉,那种千万种情绪混杂的感觉。最终简爱的爱情终于得到了圆满。
简爱,正是那个我想要成为的女性,可以不漂亮,可以不强壮,但是必须拥有一颗强大的内心,对自己选择的路,坚强勇敢的走下去。谢谢简爱在我的成长路上对我的引导与鼓励。
